Custom Bootstrap Development

Work Type: Personal

After several iterations to my personal website over the last 7 years, I decided to take a step away from the traditional concepts of what I thought a website should look like. I first began by designing the UI direction in Sketch. This was then copied and altered with the help of Bootstrap 4 framework among other libraries. This was a great project to expand my knowledge in frontend development.

Building a Community

Work Type: Personal

Started as a passion project for the competitive yoyo community, grew into a strong asset within the community. The most recent iteration was built and spread on Instagram. The main goal was to showcase lesser known players to the masses, this simple idea lead me to partner with various yoyo manufactures and ecommerce stores from around the world.

Install & Deploy Elk Stack

Work Type : Personal

I introduced myself to ELK after having experience with Splunk and Graylog from a college course. I wanted to continue practicing setting up and deploying log servers. I was able to create a robust instance on my home network using various beats to monitor a host of diverse traffic from Windows and Linux machines.

Who Am I?

Since the age of 13, I’ve been seeking out opportunities to problem solve. Be it troubleshooting an issue in my car, to starting an Instagram community for yo-yoers to showcase their tricks, or endeavoring to improve my personal life, I’m always looking for a new project. The bottom line is that if the idea to fix or improve something pops into my head, I’m going to figure out how to make it happen.

I eventually became interested in the world of entrepreneurship, a world that’s full of opportunities and chances to learn something new. I’m a firm believer that anyone can learn a new skill if they want it bad enough-- a mindset that I’ve carried with me throughout my time as an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship requires one to be a “jack of all trades” and over the years, I’ve become just that. My skillset leans more towards web development and graphic design, but also extends into project management and marketing.

When I do find some downtime, I like to spend it being active both physically and mentally. If I’m not hiking, climbing or working out, you can usually find me destroying newbs in a variety of eSport games.
